Sana'a (Saba) - The capital Sana'a witnessed a major central event on the occasion of the International Day of Muslim Women - the anniversary of the birth of Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, organized by the Women's Committee, the office of the Capital Secretariat in the square of the People's Mosque under the slogan "Fatima Al-Zahra, the mother of her father".
In the event, cultural activist Bushra Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi stressed that celebrating this occasion is an opportunity and an important station to clarify and explain Islam's view of women.
She pointed out that Islam gave women a high status and presented them in a divine way and methodology that is consistent with the nature and social and human composition of society.
