Sana'a - Saba:
Students of the Quran Generation in the Inner Haima District of Sana'a Governorate organized a symposium commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein ibn Ali, peace be upon them.
The symposium, held at the Al-Sharif Mosque in Hijrat Al-Ar, in the Al-Hadab district, reviewed milestones in the life of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the events of struggle that accompanied them, as well as the great sacrifices made in upholding the word of truth and confronting injustice, tyranny, and the corrupt path pursued by the Umayyads in their governance.
The symposium considered normalization with the Zionist entity by some Arab regimes an extension of Yazid ibn Muawiyah's perseverance in the path of murder, genocide, and injustice against innocents, women, and children, and in confronting the truth and its advocates across the globe.
It emphasized the importance of exploiting this anniversary to draw lessons and morals from the life of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and embodying them in practical reality. This will contribute to correcting the course and rectifying the distortions resulting from the deviation of Muslims and their distancing from the Holy Quran and the directives of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.
The speakers emphasized that the nation's past deviation has led to the dangerous collapse currently being experienced by the Islamic nation. They pointed to the injustice and aggression taking place in Gaza, amid the silence of the cowardly governments that claim to be Islamic, and the counterproductive stance of some others supporting the usurping entity.
The seminar was attended by Director of Community Initiatives Daris Al-Omari, and a number of teachers and students.
