The Iranian national team maintained its second place in Asia and 18th in the world in the latest ranking issued by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) for the year 2024;

Tasnim International News Agency reported on Friday that in this ranking, which is the last for FIFA in the current year 2024, the national teams of Argentina, France, Spain, England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Germany occupy the first to tenth places.

In Asia, the national teams of Japan, Iran, South Korea, Australia, Qatar, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE came in first place, respectively.
