Occupied al-Quds- Saba:
The so-called Planning and Building Committee in the Zionist enemy municipality in occupied al-Quds approved three additional settlement plans to build residential towers south of al-Quds, including 30 floors in the occupied Katamon neighborhood, and three towers in the (Gilo) settlement built on the lands of the displaced village of Al-Walaja.
The Palestinian Information Center reported on Tuesday evening that the same committee had approved on November 25 a settlement project to modernize a complex built on the borders of the Katamon neighborhood, with 292 housing units, underground parking lots and public spaces.
In early November, a settlement plan was also approved in the Katamon neighborhood and the displaced village of Ein Karem, which includes the construction of 750 housing units, in addition to public and commercial buildings.
From the beginning of 2024 until the end of June, the enemy forces studied a total of 83 master plans for expanding or establishing new settlements, including 39 plans in the West Bank settlements and 44 plans for settlements in al-Quds. Through them, they studied a total of more than 8,511 housing units in the West Bank settlements and 6,723 for al-Quds settlements.
