The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that over the past 24 hours, its forces have liberated the towns of Nikolaevka and Serebryanka in the Donetsk Republic, destroyed Western armor , weapons, and shot down 78 drones on various axes.
In its daily report on the special military operation, the ministry reported that Russian "North" forces cleared new areas on the Volchansk and Lipetsovsky axes in the Kharkov region of eastern Ukraine, costing Kiev's forces 100 soldiers and destroying Western guns.
According to the ministry, "West" forces strengthened their positions in Donetsk and Kharkov, repelling six attacks and inflicting 510 casualties on the attacking forces, destroying vehicles, Western guns, and two electronic warfare stations.
The "Center" forces also liberated the town of Nikolaevka in the Donetsk Republic, repelled 13 attacks and cost Kiev's forces 450 dead, and destroyed guns, vehicles, a troop carrier, an armored vehicle, weapons, western guns and an ammunition depot, while the "East" forces strengthened their positions in Donetsk and repelled two attacks, during which the attacking forces lost 115 soldiers, vehicles and western guns.
Dnieper forces inflicted significant losses on the Ukrainian army in Kherson province, including 90 servicemen, armored vehicles, western guns and an ammunition depot, the ministry said.
Russian forces destroyed the infrastructure of military airfields, fuel bases, warehouses and workshops for assembling drones , drone boats and shot down 14 HIMARS missiles and 78 drones.
