A Palestinian journalist was killed and two others were wounded on Wednesday evening in a shelling of the Zionist enemy targeting the northern Gaza Strip.
According to press sources, an Israeli raid targeted the press crews in the Abu Sharkh roundabout area in Jabalia, which led to the death of journalist Muhammad Al-Tanani and the injury of journalist Tamer Labad, who was taken by ambulance crews to the Al-Ma'amadani Hospital east of Gaza City.
Another group of journalists was targeted on Al-Saftawi Street in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the injury of journalist Fadi Al-Wahidi and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
The sources pointed out that the two journalists Labad and Al-Tanani work in the Al-Aqsa satellite channel, while the journalist Al-Wahidi works as a photographer for the Qatari channel Al-Jazeera.
Since October 7, 2023, 167 journalists and media workers have been killed, while 357 others have been injured, according to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate.
