Gaza - Saba : Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, mourned the death of Ali Karki, a Islamic Resistance leader in Lebanon.

Al-Qassam Brigades said in an obituary statement on Sunday evening that "Abu al-Fadl" died as a martyr on the road to Al-Quds. It praised his "pivotal role" in supporting the Palestinians and their resistance.

It explained: "The martyr Karaki led the South Lebanon Front with all its axes and formations as part of the front supporting the Lebanese Islamic Resistance to Gaza during Al-Aqsa deluge."

Al-Qassam noted that the martyr, Haj Abu al-Fadl, had "great contributions in building the resistance front against the Zionist occupation over many years."
