SANA'A - SABA :
A training course in the disease and epidemic control field organized on Saturday by the Military Medical Services Department "Preventive Medicine Division" concluded in Sana'a .
The ten-day course aimed to provide 57 participants from the Preventive Medicine Division and military regions with knowledge on how to combat malaria, dengue fever, microbes, eliminating mosquito breeding sources, standard definitions of epidemiological surveillance, water , food safety, and health education.
In the presence of the Undersecretary of Health Ministry for the Population Sector, Dr. Najeeb Al-Qubati, Deputy Head of the Military Medical Services Department, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al-Damashqi, Director of Disease Control and Surveillance at Health Ministry , Dr. Ihab Al-Saqqaf, and Head of the Preventive Medicine Division Abu Yahya Zaher, Dr. Fouad Radwan, deputy head of the division, reviewed the objectives and themes of the workshop, praising the efforts of Health Ministry and the Military Medical Services Department in holding such a course to provide participants with knowledge about combating diseases , epidemics and enhancing community awareness of ways to prevent them.
