SANA'A - SABA: Hadramout Local Authority held an evening celebration Friday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth (peace be upon him and his family).
The event was attended by Vice Chairman of the Shura Council Abdo al-Janadi and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Baja'alah, who emphasized the significance of commemorating this sacred occasion—the birth of the most esteemed of mankind, the beloved of the Lord of the Worlds.
They highlighted the Prophet’s exemplary qualities of morality, benevolence, sacrifice, jihad, and his stance against oppression and hypocrisy.
Baja'alah noted that Yemenis, who witnessed the Prophet’s faith and wisdom, draw their guidance and principles from his teachings. He called on everyone to actively participate in the central event scheduled for next Sunday, reflecting the devotion of the people of faith and wisdom to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
Hadhramaut governor Luqman Baras, along with governors of Mahra, Aden, Shabwa, and Socotra, underlined the importance of celebrating the birth of the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), who led humanity from darkness into light.
Baras also addressed the challenges faced by the southern provinces, particularly Hadhramaut, due to the Saudi-Emirati occupation and the interference of American and British intelligence.
He called for unity among the people of Hadhramaut and Yemen to confront colonial arrogance and expel the occupation forces from Yemeni soil.
Speakers emphasized the importance of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday as an opportunity to purify souls and draw lessons from his life (peace be upon him and his family).
