SANA'A September 07. 2024 (Saba) — The General Mobilization Office in al-Nahda neighborhood in al-Thawra district in the capital Sana'a organized a celebration on Saturday marking the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Attendees included members of Parliament and the Shura Council, as well as Judge Mansour al-Arjali from the Grievances Commission, Yahya al-Mahdi of Shura Council highlighted the significance of the occasion for Muslims, emphasizing its importance amidst ongoing conflicts involving the U.S., Britain, and the Zionist entity, and praising the Yemeni people's commitment to the Prophet’s teachings.
Al-Mahdi urged a grand mobilization for the central celebration on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, emphasizing the contrast between Yemen's celebration and the perceived secularism in other countries.
Members of the Mobilization and Mobilization Committee, Saleh al-Khawlani and Farouk al-Wajeeh, condemned the inaction of Arab and Islamic countries in the face of atrocities against Palestinians.
They praised Yemen’s support for Palestinian resistance and called for a unified and prominent celebration of the Prophet's birth, underscoring the occasion as a testament to Yemen's devotion and resilience.
