ROMA September 03. 2024 (Saba)- Italian soccer club Roma announced on Tuesday the signing of Spanish defender Mario Hermoso on a three-year free transfer.

The club said in a statement on its website: The defender has played more than 300 games in the positions of center back and left back.

Hermoso grew up in Real Madrid's academies and also played for Real Valladolid and Espanyol before donning the Atletico Madrid jersey.

Hermoso stayed with Diego Simeone's side for five seasons, winning the 2020-21 La Liga title and also playing in the Champions League.
