SANA'A September 03. 2024 (Saba) — Prime Minister Ahmed al-RahAwi on Tuesday attended a significant event organized by the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth.

The Prime Minister’s participation underscored Yemen’s deep-seated reverence for the Prophet and highlighted the nation's ongoing support for the Palestinian cause amidst the ongoing "al-Aqsa Flood" battle.

In his address, al-Rahawi praised the nationwide celebrations, emphasizing their reflection of Yemeni devotion to the Prophet and his teachings.

He denounced the trivialization of such significant religious observances, asserting that Yemen’s commitment to the Prophet’s example is evident in its support for the Palestinians, especially in contrast to some Arab and Islamic nations' stance on the Gaza conflict.

Al-Rahawi also criticized the international community's lack of action and highlighted Yemen's firm position against Israeli aggression.

He reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to the Palestinian struggle, noting its active role in opposing perceived Western and American support for the Israeli actions.

Minister of Civil Service Dr. al-Hawali emphasized the significance of the Prophet’s birthday as a time for reinforcing social solidarity and countering cultural encroachment.

The celebration also featured remarks from Moadh Shamalah, the representative of the Hamas movement in Yemen, who lamented the continued threats to al-Aqsa Mosque and praised Yemen’s bold support in the ongoing conflict.

The event underscored the blend of religious devotion and political commitment that characterizes Yemen's response to the ongoing regional crisis.

He declared, "All of this is an indication that the Yemeni decision is proceeding with all boldness and strength in supporting and backing the Palestinian people until the aggression against them stops, and the Palestinian cause is victorious. The Yemenis will have the honor of liberating al-Aqsa and Palestine."

The celebration highlighted Yemen’s solidarity with the Palestinians and reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to contribute to their cause amidst ongoing regional conflicts.
