MOSCOW September 02. 2024 (Saba) -The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that air defense systems last night shot down two Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea and the southwestern province of Belgorod.
According to Russia Today, the Belgord city authorities reported material damage as a result of a Ukrainian missile targeting social and commercial facilities in the city.
Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of Belgorod province, announced that all schools in the Kharkovskaya district of Belgorod had been closed for a week to avoid bombing by Kiev forces, and would operate remotely.
The shelling targeted a kindergarten, causing significant material damage, but no injuries.
Kiev forces continue to target Russia's southwestern border areas with drones and rockets on an almost daily basis, resulting in civilian casualties.
