HODEIDA August 26. 2024 (Saba) - The General Authority of Zakat office in Bajil District, Al-Hodeida launched on Monday the grains in-kind zakat distribution to the needy and poor, coinciding with the commemoration of the Prophet's birth.
At the inauguration, the district director , Abdul-Moneim Al-Rifai, praised the Zakat Authority projects and the charitable initiatives that it carries out annually to commemorate the Prophet's birth , and to crown the true meanings of solidarity that the Nation Messenger urged.
Al-Rifai called on those responsible to pay their zakat to the Zakat branch in the directorate, as it is the body responsible for delivering it to those who deserve it.
He indicated that the Zakat works and projects have achieved their tangible impact among the poor groups and supported areas of empowerment.
Meanwhile, the Zakat Director in the directorate, Abdullah Al-Khawlani, explained that 1,092 cups of grains in kind, including white and red corn and millet, will be distributed to the beneficiaries according to the poor and needy database in the various districts and directorate villages.
