SANA'A August 26. 2024 (Saba) - Finance Minister Abdul Jabbar Ahmed Mohammed met on Monday with the General Authority for Land Transport Regulation Chairman, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyad.
The meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Regulation and Government Accounts Sector, Mohammed Amer, was devoted to discussing the final arrangements for implementing the electronic collection of revenues , fees of the Authority and its provinces branches .
The meeting reviewed the efforts made in this regard and the steps that have been accomplished through the Executive Unit for Information and Systems at the Finance Ministry and the technical team at the Authority in terms of preparing and setting up the infrastructure to start implementing electronic collection.
The meeting stressed the provision of capabilities and overcoming all difficulties to achieve full electronic collection of all the Authority's resources in accordance with the approved mechanisms and programs, in a way that contributes to enhancing financial transparency and ensuring the collection of revenues.
