SA'ADA August 26. 2024 (Saba) — Sa'ada province Mohammed Awad on Monday extended condolences on the passing of Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Yahya Mohammed Maqit, who died at the age of 75 after dedicating much of his life to serving Yemen.
Awad conveyed the condolences of Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat to Maqit's family and his tribe.
He highlighted Sheikh Ahmed Maqit’s dedication to the nation, his commitment to public causes, and his role in resisting aggression.
Awad recognized him as a staunch supporter of the Quranic march and a significant figure who gave his life in service of his country and faith.
