DAMASCUS August 17. 2024 (Saba) - Syria strongly condemned the Zionist massacre committed by enemy aircraft on Saturday during the bombing of a building of the Syria family in southern Lebanon, which led to the death of at least ten Syrians and Lebanese and the injury of others.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement, according to the Syrian news agency SANA today, that this crime is a flagrant violation of international laws, a crime described against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon, and a threat to peace and security in the region.
In continuation of the crimes of genocide, destruction, and fires ignited by Israel in southern Lebanon since the beginning of its brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories, the Zionist racist entity committed a crime against a Syrian family when its planes deliberately bombed the building in which this family lives, which led to the martyrdom of at least ten Syrians and Lebanese, along with other wounded.
The Syrian Arabic Republic strongly condemns this new Zionist massacre just as it condemned the Zionist massacres in the Gaza Strip, and affirms that this crime committed by the Zionist entity this morning is a flagrant violation of international conventions and laws, a crime against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon and a threat to peace and security in the region.
Syria reiterates its firm solidarity with Lebanon sympathy with the families of the victims and support for the brotherly Lebanese people in the face of the ongoing aggression against them.
