SANA'A August 17. 2024 (Saba) - The Change Government and Construction approved in its meeting held on Saturday headed by Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, its draft general program, and the Prime Minister will present it to the Parliament for discussion and approval in preparation for completing the necessary constitutional procedures.
The Council began its work with verses from Holy Quran, then listened to excerpts from the covenant of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) to Malik Al-Ashtar Al-Nakha'i.
The Council discussed the draft general program, which is divided into six main axes focused on enhancing steadfastness in the face of aggression and addressing its effects, administrative development , institutional reform, economic, financial, development policies, public services , infrastructure, domestic , foreign policy, enhancing justice and human rights.
The program includes general policies that determine the priorities of the urgent phase to implement and achieve the set goals using the best practices and implementable mechanisms without any overlap in the specializations to reach the best results that serve the citizen who is the focus of the government’s interest in the program.
The program focused on emphasizing the spirit of solidarity at the government level and in its relationship with the rest of the constitutional institutions to bring about change , construction , raise the level of performance and general achievement and serve citizens , facilitate and expedite their transactions in addition to confronting challenges , financial and moral corruption in a sense of religious, moral and national responsibility, emphasizing the positive , vital role of various guidance , awareness tools , means, most notably the various traditional and modern media outlets, in creating a positive atmosphere that helps the government perform its national duties in this exceptional phase.
The Council discussed the draft proposals submitted by the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, regarding the instructions for managing the transition process to the new organizational and administrative status of the units included in the merger process in accordance with the decision to form the government and name its members.
The Council General Secretariat was tasked with absorbing the comments submitted by the Council members in this regard , reformulating the draft decision accordingly and submitting it to the next the Council meeting .
