GAZA August 17. 2024 (Saba) - Acting Director of Al-Awda Hospital in Tal al-Zaatar area of Jabalia, north Gaza Strip, Mohammed Salha, stated today, Saturday, that the health sector in the northern Gaza Strip is suffering from a shortage of medical supplies and a lack of fuel, and will stop working within 24 hours if fuel is not received from the World Health Organization.
Salha confirmed, in a press statement issued today, Saturday, and reported by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa", that Al-Awda Hospital is currently operating with small electric generators as much as possible to provide health care to patients and the wounded.
It is worth noting that Al-Awda Hospital in Tal al-Zaatar is affiliated with Al-Awda Health and Community Association, which provides its health and community services through its hospitals and headquarters spread across all governorates of Gaza Strip.
