SANA'A August 13. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Sana'a headed by the Attorney General of Public Funds, Judge Ali Yahya Al-Mutawakel, discussed the procedures for examining the cases of endowments and the State Lands Authority in Sana'a Province, the difficulties they face and ways to solve them.
The meeting, which included the Head of the Sana'a Province Appeal Prosecution, Judge Wadah Al-Qurashi, and the Directors of the Endowments Office, Abdullah Amer, and the Directors of the Lands Authority Branch in the Province, Yahya Al-Shami, reviewed the cases being considered by the Sanhan and Bilad Al-Rus Prosecution Offices related to attacks on endowments funds and state lands.
The meeting discussed the procedures followed and taken by the Public Prosecution regarding these cases, and the level of coordination with the Awqaf Office and the Land Authority branch in the province to ensure the integrity of the procedures and fulfillment of all legal requirements for filing lawsuits before the courts regarding these cases.
The meeting stressed the holding of monthly meetings between the Public Prosecution, the courts and the executive offices, to discuss the difficulties facing their work in protecting public money and working to solve them.
