NEW YORK August 10. 2024 (Saba) - A UN rapporteur confirmed that the Zionist occupation authorities are committing genocide against Palestinians in one school after another in Gaza Strip, and that "extrajudicial killing cannot remain unpunished."
Francesca Albanese, who is concerned with the human rights situation in the Palestinian territories, said in a post on her account on the "X" platform: The occupation authorities are committing genocide with American and European weapons amid the indifference of all "civilized nations."
She said: The history of the Zionist occupation in assassinating Palestinians inside and outside the country is "long and cannot remain unaccounted for."
The UN rapporteur added: "I have condemned, along with other UN experts, the escalation of violence in the Middle East, and the recent round of extrajudicial killings and assassinations, from Lebanon to Iran, which may also amount to acts of aggression."
Albanese stressed the need for independent, transparent investigations and accountability to be part of peace path .
