SANA'A August 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Public Health confirmed that the Sana'a Medical City project is a strategic service investment project in partnership between the state and the private sector and will benefit all citizens.
Health Minister Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this project aims to alleviate the burden on citizens by establishing specialized hospitals and medical centers that the country needs, and to provide the health sector with modern and advanced devices that keep pace with medical development in the world with specialized and professional cadres that contribute to reducing the need for citizens to travel abroad for treatment by providing modern treatment equipment and technologies within the Republic of Yemen.
He pointed out that this city is the first of its kind and comes within the framework of supporting and encouraging national investment in such qualitative projects that the country needs.
He stated that after extensive studies, careful planning and taking all necessary measures by the relevant authorities.
The Minister of Health stressed that this achievement would not have been possible without the generous and direct care, diligent follow-up and provision of all facilities by Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council.
