ISTANBUL August 09. 2024 (Saba) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stressed that those who unconditionally support Israel in its war on Gaza Strip are complicit in the massacre it is committing against the Palestinian people in the Strip.
Fidan said in press statements on Friday that "the massacre perpetrators in Gaza must not escape punishment and it is necessary that these killers be held accountable sooner or later in international courts."
He stressed the need for the international community to pressure Israel regarding humanitarian aid to Gaza and prevent the Palestinians from being sentenced to starvation.
"I appeal to those who support Israel unconditionally and to the countries that constantly ship weapons to Israel. It is very clear who is escalating the tension. Stop the habit of paying the bill for others. Achieving peace and stability in the Middle East goes through curbing Israel's madness," the Turkish foreign minister stressed. "If no one wants to take on more moral responsibility, the Zionist enemy must be stopped at this point," he added, "We in Turkey want peace and stability in our region."
