CAIRO July 31. 2024 (Saba) - The General Union of Arab Journalists condemned on Wednesday the crime committed by the Zionist enemy that led to the martyrdom of journalists Ismail al-Ghoul and Rami al-Rifi.
The assassination came during their press coverage in al-Shati camp west of Gaza City, while a number of journalists were there, as enemy aircraft directly bombed the vehicle they were traveling in.
According to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa", the union called in a statement issued by its president, Mu'ayyad al-Lami, and its secretary-general, Khaled Miri, all international media organizations, as well as the International Court, to hold the leaders of the Zionist enemy accountable and bring them to justice, and to stop the unprecedented Zionist aggression targeting journalists.
The agency stressed that "the continued silence on these massacres represents a green light for more crimes of killing Palestinian journalists."
