TEHRAN July 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Iranian parliament on Wednesday held an extraordinary meeting, for the National Security Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, to deal with the assassination of Ismail Haniyah, the head of Hamas Movement political bureau, in Tehran.
Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the National Security Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyah in a statement to Tasnim International News Agency.
The Zionist entity committed a blind and cowardly act that led to the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyah, which is evidence of the despair and helplessness of this entity, he said.
The National Security Committee of the parliament will hold a meeting on this incident and investigate it with the presence of all relevant agencies, and the result will be announced, he added.
