GAZA July 30. 2024 (Saba) -The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas considered the targeting of the southern suburbs of Beirut a dangerous escalation for which the Nazi Zionist enemy bears full responsibility for its repercussions.
The movement said in a statement on Tuesday evening: We strongly condemn the brutal Zionist aggression against Lebanon and the brotherly Lebanese people, which targeted the headquarters of the Hezbollah in the southern suburbs of Beirut, and resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of innocent citizens, and we consider it a dangerous escalation that the Nazi Zionist enemy bears full responsibility for its repercussions.
The statement added: We declare our full solidarity with the brotherly Lebanon, and the brothers in the Hezbollah, and we affirm that the arrogance of the occupation and its attempt to restore its prestige and deterrence lost, by committing more crimes in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen and the Middle East, will only be an uncalculated adventure, the enemy will pay a high price, as the time in which the occupation in our country and our region is Arabic is over.
In the face of this brutal aggression against Lebanon, we hold the US administration responsible for the crimes of the occupation and its continuous violations, through its continued open political and military support, which tempted the occupation and neo-Nazis to commit more follies and crimes that threaten peace and security throughout the Middle East.
Hamas called on all the nation's forces, components and parties to unite and stand in solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese Lebanon and people and their valiant resistance that came out in defense of the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, it also called on the international community and the United Nations to shoulder their legal and political responsibilities in stopping the genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people and to stop the aggression of the Zionists against the Lebanon and the Lebanese people on the road to ending the occupation of Palestine and our occupied Arabic territories.
