GENEVA July 27. 2024 (Saba) - The World Health Organization (WHO) has called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the protection of civilians and health workers.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expressed deep concern on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) about the safety of civilians and patients in Deir al-Balah following recent reports of Zionist airstrikes on areas sheltering many displaced people.

Today, the Zionist enemy army committed a new massacre in the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, targeting a field hospital, killing 30 and injuring 100 others.
