The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, revealed that two million people in the Gaza Strip are suffering from hunger due to Israel's blocking of aid, describing the situation as catastrophic.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters at the organization's headquarters in Geneva that "global health funding is facing historic challenges as donor countries reduce their contributions, and it is experiencing the largest disruption in the history of global health funding."
