MOSCOW July 24. 2024 (Saba) - A car explosion on Wednesday morning north of Moscow injured two people and caused significant material damage.

According to the Russia Today website, the car's driver was injured as soon as he entered the vehicle, and a woman sustained facial injuries.

Both were taken to the hospital, the website said.

Security services are currently investigating the scene, and medical teams are providing necessary assistance.

The explosion shattered windows on several floors of a nearby residential building and damaged parked cars.

Preliminary information indicates that the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted in the car.
