GAZA July 24. 2024 (Saba) - At dawn on Wednesday, five Palestinian citizens were martyred, and others injured, following Zionist enemy aircraft bombings in al-Jarn area of the northern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources, according to the Palestinian News Agency, reported that the bombing in Jabalia resulted in five martyrs and multiple injuries, with the victims transported to Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital. Occupation helicopters also targeted the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, amid intense aerial surveillance.
In central Gaza, occupation warplanes targeted Al-Bureij camp, while their vehicles opened fire in the north of the camp, Gaza Valley, and northeast Nuseirat camp. Additionally, “Quadcopter” drones emitting distress sounds were launched over various areas of Nuseirat camp.
In Khan Yunis, residential buildings in Al-Qarara were destroyed, and homes in Bani Suhaila were subjected to heavy fire and artillery shelling. A house in the Al-Satar area was also targeted by an air raid, and missile strikes hit the eastern region of Hamad Town.
UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric reported that 150,000 people were displaced from Khan Yunis on Monday alone, following evacuation orders to eastern neighborhood citizens, directing them towards the "humanitarian zone" in Al-Mawasi, west of the city. In Rafah, occupation aircraft launched a raid on the city's northern area.
The ongoing aggression against Gaza since October 7, 2023, has led to 39,090 deaths, mostly women and children, and 90,147 injuries. Thousands remain trapped under rubble, with rescue crews unable to reach many victims.
