Israeli Occupation Forces demolish more Houses in ongoing aggression on Tulkarm & its camps for 150th Day

Tulkarm – Saba:
Israeli occupation bulldozers continued their widespread demolition of residential buildings in Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarm, on Wednesday, as the aggression on the city and its camps entered its 150th day, and its 137th day on Nur Shams camp.

The massive bulldozers persisted in demolishing and razing structures in Nur Shams camp, focusing on Al-Manshiya neighborhood before expanding to Al-Maslakh, Al-Ayadah, and Al-Jame' areas and their surroundings toward the main road. Residential buildings were completely leveled, replaced with wide roads that disconnected the neighborhoods from each other.

The Palestinian News Agency "WAFA" reported that Israeli forces continue to impose a strict siege on both Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, deploying infantry units, military vehicles, and heavy bulldozers in alleys and entrances. Residents are barred from reaching their houses or checking on their properties, with live fire targeting anyone approaching the area.

Over the past two weeks, Tulkarm camp has witnessed the demolition of more than 50 buildings, creating wide streets in the heart of the camp, particularly in the Al-Balawneh, Al-Akkasha, Al-Nadi, Al-Sawalmeh, Al-Hamam, and Al-Madaris neighborhoods. The destruction has severely damaged infrastructure and housing.

Daily footage reveals the massive devastation left by Israeli bulldozers in both camps, with piles of rubble where buildings once stood, turning neighborhoods into empty wastelands covered in dust and debris.

This escalation is part of a plan announced by Israeli authorities in May, aiming to demolish 106 buildings across both camps—58 in Tulkarm camp alone, including over 250 housing units and dozens of commercial properties, along with 48 buildings in Nur Shams camp, under the pretext of "opening roads and altering geographical features."

The aggression has forcibly displaced more than 5,000 families (over 25,000 people) from the two camps, with over 500 houses completely destroyed and 2,573 partially damaged. The entrances to the camps remain blocked with earth barriers, turning them into near-lifeless zones.

Meanwhile, Tulkarm city and its suburbs, particularly the eastern Dhannaba district, witness continuous Israeli military movements. Forces deliberately obstruct and chase pedestrians and vehicles, especially in the central market, while provocatively blaring sirens and driving against traffic, endangering civilians.

Additionally, Israeli forces continue to turn Nablus Street into military barracks by seizing residential buildings and parts of the city’s northern neighborhood—opposite Tulkarm camp—after forcibly evicting residents. Some areas have been under occupation control for over four months, with heavy machinery and bulldozers deployed nearby.

Nablus Street, a vital link between Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, has suffered significant damage due to earth barriers erected months ago. Heavy troop presence and sudden flying checkpoints further obstruct movement, worsening civilian suffering.

This ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant—along with dozens of injuries and arrests. The destruction has also severely damaged infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.
