RAMALLAH July 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces on Tuesday launched an arrest campaign that targeted a number of Palestinian citizens and raided money exchange shops during raids they carried out across the occupied West Bank.

The "Palestine Today" news agency quoted local sources as saying: The enemy forces stormed Bank Street in the city of Jericho, the Al-Balou neighborhood in Al-Bireh, and Al-Quds-Hebron Street in the city of Bethlehem, and raided a number of money exchange shops, caused great damage to them, and seized sums of money. Violent confrontations broke out with enemy forces in the city of Al-Bireh, during which the young man, Ahmed Ramzi Abdel-Sultan, was martyred after being hit by occupation bullets.

Enemy forces raided the home of citizen Alaa Abayat in the village of Al-Manshiya, southeast of Bethlehem, detained her, interrogated her on the ground, and took her to the exchange shop she runs in Bethlehem, before releasing her after searching the shop and seizing its contents.

Enemy forces arrested a young man from his home in the town of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah.

The incursions targeted the city of Tubas through Tayasir military checkpoint east of the city, where confrontations and armed clashes broke out between it and resistance fighters, including targeting enemy vehicles with homemade explosive devices.

Enemy forces also raided the homes of a number of wanted persons, and detained citizens Mithqal and Fawaz Abu Dawas to pressure their two sons to surrender themselves, and later released them.

Enemy forces arrested two young men after raiding their homes in Shweika suburb of Tulkarm.

Enemy forces stormed the village of Al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya, and raided a number of homes, searched them, and beat a number of citizens.

Armed clashes broke out between resistance fighters and enemy forces after they stormed the city of Qalqilya.

Local sources reported that enemy forces deployed in the market area in central Qalqilya and in several neighborhoods, and raided a commercial store on Al-Sabaa Street.

Enemy forces also arrested a young man from the village of Abu Injim, southeast of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching his house, and arrested seven citizens from various areas in the Hebron Governorate in the south of the West Bank.

The enemy forces also arrested a young man from the town of Deir Samet, southwest of Hebron, and another from the town of Al-Samou, south of Hebron.
