WASHINGTON July 15. 2024 (Saba) - According to information available to him, US former President Donald Trump has said President Joe Biden would ask the Department of Justice to drop two cases against him.

This was reported by the New York Post today, which was based on an interview with the former US president.

“Trump also announced that, according to the information he has, Biden will also direct the Pentagon to stop two prosecutions against Trump,” the newspaper added.

But at the same time, the newspaper points out that there is still no indication that such a measure is being prepared.

In total, Trump has been charged with 91 charges in four criminal cases, which Trump described as an attempt by the Democratic Party's political elite to prevent him from returning to the White House.

Last Saturday, Trump was subjected to an assassination attempt while delivering his speech during an election rally for his supporters in Pennsylvania.

The FBI identified Trump's shooter as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed at the scene by Secret Service agents.
