NAZARETH July 14. 2024 (Saba) - Major General Amos Gilad, a reserve in the Zionist enemy army, considered Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's quest for so-called "absolute victory" as "drowning in the quagmire of the Gaza Strip."
The Zionist newspaper Maariv quoted Gilad as saying: "Netanyahu did not offer any practical solution for the day after the war and did not specify the direction in which we will go."
He pointed out that Netanyahu deliberately does not reach a deal with the Palestinian resistance, "every time Netanyahu sends a negotiating team that sets new red lines, so there will be no deal."
The Zionist enemy has been waging a genocidal war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 127,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than ten thousand missing amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children.
The Zionist enemy authorities are ignoring the UN Security Council resolutions to stop the war immediately and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
