GAZA July 11. 2024 (Saba) - Water desalination plants supplying the Gaza and northern governorates stopped working due to running out of fuel.
Palestinian sources reported that the stations stopped working completely, which doubled the suffering of citizens and the humanitarian situation in those areas, especially after the Zionist enemy deliberately destroyed water wells in northern Gaza.
The Zionist enemy army has completely prevented the entry of fuel into the northern Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7th.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza called on the United Nations Agency for the Employment of Palestinian Refugees to specify an allocation of fuel for the Civil Defense to continue providing services in light of the increasing intensity of air strikes and bloody massacres in a way that increases humanitarian crises.
The director of the Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, Hossam Abu Safiya, also warned that service in the hospital would stop within hours if fuel was not available as a result of the electricity generator stopping.
