OCCUPIED AL-QUDS July 07. 2024 (Saba) - Morning demonstrations were launched in several cities in the occupying Zionist entity, demanding a prisoner exchange deal with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the dismissal of Benjamin Netanyahu's government.
An opinion poll revealed that 54 percent of Zionists believe that the war is continuing because of Netanyahu's political considerations.
Demonstrators closed the main Ayalon Street in central Tel Aviv, demanding early elections, raising a banner reading: “Enough with the government of destruction.”
On Saturday evening, confrontations broke out between enemy police and demonstrators in Tel Aviv, and the police dispersed them by force and using waste water.
The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said the police suppressed the demonstrators in Tel Aviv, after they tried to close one of the main streets in the Ayalon area as a manifestation of the protest.
Tens of thousands of Zionist settlers also participated in demonstrations that began in cities and crossroads within the occupying entity, most notably Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Caesarea, to demand the conclusion of an exchange deal and the return of prisoners detained in the Gaza Strip.
The families of the prisoners called on the Zionist street to participate widely in the demonstrations with the aim of pressuring the Netanyahu government to conclude an agreement.
The families of the prisoners said in a press conference: They will not allow Netanyahu to disrupt and spoil the deal, as he did in previous times, and they demanded that he put the interests of the entity ahead of his personal interests.
