Hamas: Netanyahu's recent stance clear rejection of UN Security Council resolution, Biden's proposals

GAZA June 24. 2024 (Saba) - Early this Monday morning, Hamas pointed out that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statements regarding "partial deals and the continuation of the genocide war" in the Gaza Strip "clearly confirm his rejection of the recent UN Security Council resolution and President Joe Biden's proposals."

In a press statement, Hamas stated that Netanyahu's stance contradicts what the US administration attempted to market, regarding an alleged Israeli agreement to reach a deal with Palestinian resistance.

Hamas viewed that its insistence that any agreement must include a clear confirmation of a permanent ceasefire and a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip "was an essential necessity."

The statement emphasized Hamas's determination to block Netanyahu's attempts at evasion, deception, and perpetuation of aggression and genocide against our people.

Hamas called on the international community to pressure the Israeli government to halt its war against the Palestinian people, urging the Biden administration to make a clear decision to cease its support for the comprehensive genocide inflicted upon our people in the Gaza Strip.

It demanded that the Biden administration "lift the cover" off the occupation and its crimes, which make Washington a principal partner in their commission.

Netanyahu affirmed in recent statements during a televised interview on Channel 14 Hebrew last night, his commitment to the genocide war against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip, targeting only a partial agreement to retrieve a number of prisoners and then resuming the war thereafter.

He stated, "I am not prepared to cease the war (in Gaza) before eliminating Hamas," clarifying, "the phase of intense fighting in Gaza is nearing its end."
