Nusrat al-Aqsa committee commends security services for exposing American-Israeli spy cell

SANA'A June 12. 2024 (Saba) - In a significant development, the Supreme Committee of the national campaign for Nusrat al-Aqsa convened its weekly meeting on Wedneday under the chairmanship of Mohammed Meftah, advisor to the chairman of the Supreme Political Council.

The agenda, focused on Palestinian issues and the victory of Gaza, highlighted the crucial role of the security services in safeguarding the nation's security and sovereignty.

At the outset of the meeting, the Supreme Committee extended its gratitude to the security services for their unwavering efforts in thwarting foreign conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the homeland.

Particularly noteworthy was the commendation of the security services for their successful uncovering and dismantling of the American-Israeli spy network, as announced through media channels on Tuesday.

The Committee hailed this achievement as a testament to the resilience of the Yemeni people and the spirit of the September 21 Revolution.

Emphasizing the strategic significance of this accomplishment, it underscored the meticulous intelligence work and cooperation of honorable Yemeni citizens in ensuring the nation's defense against external threats.

The Committee expressed confidence in the security services' capability to counter aggressive schemes targeting the homeland, affirming its commitment to preserving Yemen's renaissance and progress.

Furthermore, the Committee lauded recent military operations carried out by the Navy, missile force, and air force against hostile targets in the Red and Arab seas. Notable among these operations was the targeting of the British destroyer "Diamond" in the Red Sea, a decisive response to US-British aggression and a show of solidarity with Gaza.

In addition, the Committee welcomed Colombia's supportive stance towards the Palestinian cause, including measures such as preventing the export of coal to the Zionist enemy.

It called on other nations to follow suit in taking concrete actions against the occupation, whether through diplomatic or economic means.

Turning its attention to upcoming initiatives, the Committee discussed plans for post-Eid al-Adha activities, including continued mobilization efforts and comprehensive economic boycotts of Zionist and American goods. These actions are aimed at bolstering support for the oppressed Palestinian people and denouncing the ongoing aggression against Yemen.

Finally, the Committee condemned the hostile US administration's punitive measures against Yemeni figures and entities, viewing them as attempts to pressure Yemen's stance on Gaza.

It reaffirmed the Yemeni people's resilience in the face of such measures and called for mass participation in upcoming solidarity marches to demonstrate unwavering support for Gaza and condemnation of foreign aggression.

The Committee's decisions reflect a steadfast commitment to defending Yemen's sovereignty and standing in solidarity with oppressed peoples worldwide, particularly the Palestinians in their struggle against occupation and injustice.
