AMRAN June 12. 2024 (Saba) - Amran University held on Wednesday an introductory scientific symposium on the research map of the Republic of Yemen and its electronic platform, in cooperation with the Higher Authority for Science, Technology and Innovation.
The symposium was attended by a number of academics, researchers and those interested in the research map.
Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, Rector of the University, stressed the importance of the symposium in highlighting the research map and its recommendations for the advancement of vital sectors in the country, pointing out the importance of cooperation between universities and the Supreme Authority for Science, Technology and Innovation in directing scientific research activities.
Dr. Al-Hawali praised the efforts made to bring the research map into existence, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation to achieve academic and research excellence.
The Authority’s Undersecretary for the Research Sector also provided details of the research map and its various parts, stressing the importance of strengthening the partnership between universities and institutions to support scientific research.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the research map project team presented the components of the electronic platform and the steps for registering in it, stressing the importance of benefiting from the map in developing scientific research in Yemen and the necessity of enhancing communication between researchers through such seminars.
This symposium reflects the efforts made to support scientific research and enhance academic cooperation in Yemen, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and raising the level of innovation and development in various sectors.
