SANA'A June 08. 2024 (Saba) - The First Undersecretary of Sana'a Province, Hamid Assem, inaugurated today,Saturday, the conditional cash transfer project for nutrition in quiet district in Hamdan District for the month of May 2024 AD.
The project, implemented by the Social Fund for Development, Sana’a branch, with funding from the World Bank, targets three thousand and 677 families at a cost of 77 million and 887 thousand riyals.
At the inauguration, Agent Assem pointed out the importance of the project in enhancing nutrition efforts for mothers and children in the beneficiary families.
Meanwhile, Director of the Directorate, Gibran Gobar, pointed out the importance of the project to enhance the capabilities of the beneficiary families in facing the challenges imposed by the aggression and siege.
In turn, the health and nutrition projects officer at the Social Fund for Development, Sana’a branch, Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Jarmouzi, indicated that the project, which lasts for a year, comes in support of poor and needy families & families suffering from malnutrition.
