Hodeida - Saba:

A large women's vigil was held in Hodeida city on Thursday afternoon to mark the 105th anniversary of Tanumah and Sadwan massacre of Yemeni pilgrims in 1923 by "Bani Saud gangs."

The vigil, organized under the slogan "Tanumah Between the Aggression of the Past and the Present," saw participants raising banners denouncing enemies of God and Islam and recalling the killing of over three thousand pilgrims.

Angry slogans condemned the Saudi regime's "brutal massacre" in Tanumah and its history of targeting Yemenis. Participants asserted the pilgrims' blood would not be in vain and would haunt the "killers." The participants stated that free people remember those who kill their sons and pass on their memory for historical justice.

The vigil highlighted the massacre as a major crime revealing the "bloody history" of the Saudi regime's willingness to kill innocents and violate sanctities, linking its past actions to present aggression.

Vigil's speakers argued that the Saudi regime, not content with the pilgrims' blood, has continued massacres against Yemenis since 2015, and that the events in Gaza are an extension of the same conspiracy, with the "Zionist enemy" committing crimes supported by regimes like Saudi Arabia.

The participants declared full support for Yemeni military operations backing Palestine and strikes against "the Zionist heartland." They affirmed Yemen's commitment to defending the oppressed and that the battle of "the promised conquest and the sacred jihad" would continue.

The vigil urged learning from Tanumah massacre, documenting it for future generations, and rejecting normalization with the nation's "executioners."

The women of Hodeida renewed their commitment to steadfastness, emphasizing that awareness of history is as important as weapons and that victory is inevitable for those who hold to their faith and vital issues.
