OCCUPIED QUDS June 07. 2024 (Saba) - Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday Prayers in Al-Aqsa Holy Mosque, despite the measures escalated by Zionist forces in the occupied city of Quds.
The Islamic Waqf Department in Quds said 30,000 worshippers performed Friday Prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and absentee prayers for the souls of the martyrs of Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The Zionist enemy forces erected dozens of iron barriers in the vicinity of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, arrested dozens of youths and checked their personal identities.
Enemy forces were deployed among worshippers in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and climbed the courtyard of the Dome of the Rock during Friday Prayers.
The forces also prevented dozens of young men from performing dawn Prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, forcing them to perform the prayers at the Youssoufia cemetery near the Lions Gate.
It is noteworthy that since the start of the comprehensive Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, on the seventh of last October, the enemy forces have intensified their measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.
