AMRAN May 13. 2024 (Saba) - The Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, and the Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Jaaman, inaugurated today,Monday, the stone paving project in Harf Sufyan District.
Maqbouli and Jaaman, along with the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Taha Al-Sufyani, the Head of the Road Maintenance Fund, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, and the Executive Director of the General Corporation for Rural Electricity, Engineer Nabil Muharram, listened to an explanation of the components of the project, which is 3,400 meters long and worth 450 million riyals, including 40 million community contributions. It was implemented by the Road Maintenance Fund.
In addition, Dr. Maqbouli, Dr. Jaaman, Al-Sufyani, Engineer Al-Haifi, Engineer Muharram, and those concerned in the province inspected the progress of work in implementing rural electricity lines in the district by the General Corporation for Rural Electricity.
In its first phase, the project consists of a high-voltage network with a length of 28 km, a low-voltage network with a length of 60 km, 18 transformers, and a generating station worth 350 million riyals.
During the visit, the Governor of Amran pointed out the importance of such projects related to the daily lives of citizens, stressing the keenness of the province’s leadership to continue implementing service projects in the directorates in coordination with the ministries , competent and relevant authorities.
He pointed out the importance of completing the stone paving path in the city of Harf Sufyan to alleviate the suffering of the city’s people due to the difficulty of movement, especially during rainfall.
