TAIZ May 12. 2024 (Saba) -The Yemeni southwestern governorate of Taiz on Sunday saw the kickoff of economic empowerment program in Maqbana district.

Funded by the central emergency development interventions unit, the program is aimed to support poor households in zoology (as a first step) and agriculture (as a second step).

The program is expected to help improve livings of poor households in this needy district, Taiz acting governor, Ahmed al-Mosawa, said at a meeting, noting that the program would be implemented in other districts.
