HAJJAH May 12. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Hajjah province, chaired by governor Helal al-Sufi discussed the plan to address acute watery diarrheal diseases and ways to control the epidemic.
The meeting reviewed the epidemiological situation at the level of each directorate.
Attendees discussed the primary tasks and roles of relevant authorities, as well as the coordination mechanisms between them to implement field activities and raise awareness about preventing acute watery diarrhea.
The attendees emphasized the importance of supporting the acute watery diarrhea treatment center in the province center, adhering to the established plan, conducting water source chlorination campaigns, and bolstering community awareness on this matter.
They expressed their gratitude for UNICEF's assistance in supplying the essential requirements for the acute watery diarrheal disease treatment center.
