The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed on Saturday that Palestinians are dying in the Gaza Strip, which has been under a complete Israeli blockade for the third consecutive month, as part of a genocide that has been ongoing for more than a year and a half.

OCHA said in a statement published on its X platform account that 70% of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are inside areas where Israeli forces are present, or under evacuation orders, or both.

It stressed that the United Nations and its partners are ready to intensify aid delivery to the Gaza Strip immediately after the Israeli blockade, which has been in place since March 2, is lifted.

Describing the situation in the Gaza Strip, OCHA said: "Palestinians are dying amid a complete Israeli blockade for the third consecutive month."
