SANA'A May 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Republic Championship for third-division handball clubs, organized by the General Federation of Handball under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the support of the Youth Welfare Fund, continued in Sana'a today.
Four matches were held today at Al-Rowad Hall at Al-Ahly Club, with Al-Shorouk defeating the victory 22/18, while Ribbon Hareed drew with Fateh Dhamar 22/22 in Group A.
In Group B, Nasr Al-Hamra achieved its second consecutive victory in the tournament at the expense of Ahmadi Radaa with a score of 22/19, while Azal suffered a heavy defeat from its guest Shaab Hadramawt with a score of 30/17.
Ten clubs from nine governorates will participate in the seven-day tournament, divided into two groups, the first of which included the winning clubs Bait Al-Faqih Al-Hodeidah, Ribun Harida Hadramawt Al-Wadi, Al-Fajr Al-Jadeed Abyan, Al-Fath Dhamar, Al-Shorouk Taiz.
The second group included "Al-Shaab Clubs Hadramawt Al-Sahel, Nasr Al-Hamra Lahj, Azal Sana'a, Taawun Ba'adan Ibb, and Al-Ahmadi Radaa Al-Bayda."
