DAMASCUS April 20. 2024 (Saba) - The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces, in cooperation with friendly Russian forces, carried out precise qualitative operations by warplanes, drones and artillery, through which they targeted the terrorists' headquarters, positions and vehicles in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Palmyra.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement today: The operations resulted in the complete destruction of the terrorists' headquarters and the elimination of dozens of them, including leaders of the terrorist organization "ISIS".
A unit of our forces operating in the direction of the countryside of Aleppo was able to shoot down and destroy a number of terrorist marches and prevent them from achieving their goals.
A terrorist group that attempted to attack a military checkpoint in Daraa countryside was also confronted, killing and wounding its members and confiscating their weapons.
