GAZA December 09. 2023 (Saba) - The heavy Israeli bombardment on the Gaza Strip continued on Saturday and targeted shelter centers with incendiary bombs, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that 71 martyrs and 160 injured arrived during the past 24 hours at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital due to the Israeli bombing of the central region of the Gaza Strip, while 62 martyrs and 100 wounded arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Jazeera TV quoted its correspondent as saying that a number of martyrs and wounded, most of them children, had arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as a result of the occupation aircraft bombing a house in the Al-Salam neighborhood in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources at the hospital said that the condition of some of the injured was serious, given the scarcity of necessary medical supplies.

The bodies of at least four martyrs and a number of wounded were recovered from the rubble of a house for the Juifel family in the Al-Zawaida area, which was targeted by an Israeli raid last night. Rescue teams and residents rushed to the targeted site in an attempt to save any survivors from the rubble, and the search is still ongoing.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the number of victims as a result of the Israeli bombing was greater than those whose bodies were recovered or who were treated.

Zionist bombing of the eastern neighborhoods of the city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip continued this morning, leading to the death of dozens and the injury of others.

In the same context, the Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir Al-Bursh, revealed on Saturday that the Israeli occupation bombed shelter centers in northern Gaza with smoke and incendiary bombs, causing unprecedented cases of suffocation and burns.

Anadolu Agency quoted Al-Barsh as saying: “Last night, we treated more than 100 cases of suffocation and burning,” pointing out that “these injuries (caused by incendiary bombs) have never happened to us before, nor have we seen anything like them.”
