NEW YORK December 08. 2023 (Saba) - Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the United Nations Secretary-General, said in media statements that the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, is determined to continue efforts to reach a ceasefire.
He added, according to what was reported by the Palestinian Information Center: Guterres sent a message urging the Security Council to exert pressure to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
In the same context, Guterres's movements revealed the extent of the anger of the Zionist enemy entity towards him, so the Netanyahu government launched an attack against him, today, Thursday, accusing him of "using his influence to ensure the survival of the Hamas movement instead of holding it accountable, and this is a threat to international peace and security," according to its claims.
Guterres had previously announced the activation of Article 99 of the United Nations Charter, to describe the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupying entity as a “threat to international peace and security.
